The track pad on my Windows laptop won't allow me to draw in tempo data.
If you have a mouse on hand, you can skip these suggestions and use that instead of the track pad.
Here's a video describing how to use the tempo drawing feature. Some laptops disengage track pad movement when you hold down a key. This is most often attributed to a setting found in the Control Panel; either the Mouse or TrackPad settings. Here are a couple of examples we've found in house.
Windows 7: Go to Control Panel / Touchpad and find the setting called Touchguard. Turn this setting off.
Windows 10: Go to Control Panel / Mouse and navigate to the last tab, Device Settings. From here click the "Settings..." button. From here open up SmartSense and turn the sensitivity all the way down.
